If you haven’t guessed by now, I do a bit of reading now and then. This morning I came across this quote.
It just so happens to be something I’m not very good at. But, I’m like a fine wine. I’m getting better with age—better at being patient. That is about all. That might have to do with the fact that I’m moving slower than I used to.
Well, I did a bit of research and discovered that this quote has been mistakenly attributed to Bhudda. You see, I’ve also found it this way.
Either way, it’s something that I am going to try to incorporate into my lifestyle. From now on I’m going to search for the right moment, not the “right” thing. No longer will I be like this guy:
I think I now have the patience to just let it die, then swoop down and tear hell out of it.
I’m going to have to keep an eye on that, though. I don’t want to starve to death along the way.
Good night, Mrs. Jackson, wherever you are.
